deener

The previous deener site lacked warmth and was hard to manage. So the client came to us for a new direction. We addressed a few issues that the site was lacking and provided them with a new look and feel that was more appealing to their market. The other issue that they had was trying to find a web designer make updates to their site when needed. So our solution was to make an administrative back end where the client can manage their collections, press, store locations. The front end was built in flash and was styled to look more like the clients brand.

EscrowDNS.com

When EscrowDNS came to us for brand consulting, they were in pretty bad shape. The previous developer had no UI experience and replicated the whole look and feel from a competitor. Our first point of execution was to design a logo that presented an exchange.

The site itself needed a clean and easy look. We tried to get rid of as much clutter as possible and brought it down to the basics.  Cleaned up the code and created an easy to use interface that was simple to navagate. The system and the administrative back end were enhanced with additional features which included a PDF invoicing system.

ChinaTown LA

Traditionally, each year, Chinatown in Los Angeles selects an artist to design a street banners of the current chinese zodiac.  In 2005 IDA Studios was selected to design the “Year of the Rooster” street banner. The Year of the Rooster zodiac symbolizes Growth, wealth and happiness. Hundreds of these pieces hang all throughout the area at approximately 30ft apart. Our concept was to tie in LA and still keep a warm golden feel that LA is well noted for. As you can see, we also placed a silhouette of LA’s City Hall in the negative space in the arch.
